Myopia Management

Eye icon Myopia Management

Myopia or nearsightedness can develop in some children usually because of lifestyle and genetics. Empowered by our EyeCare360, Myopia Management Solutions help slow down its progression at an early age, helping them keep their vision safe and intact throughout the years.

Why Early Myopia Management is Crucial

Managing myopia early, especially in children, is crucial because early detection can significantly slow down the progression of nearsightedness, helping to preserve their long-term vision. Without intervention, high myopia can lead to serious eye conditions later in life.

Our Advanced Myopia Management Solutions

To manage myopia or nearsightedness, we use Orthokeratology or Ortho-K, a non-surgical visual correction procedure. It uses specially designed rigid gas permeable contact lenses that are worn overnight during sleep to reshape the contour of the cornea to temporarily eliminate or reduce myopia.

What are the benefits of Ortho-K?

  • • Proven to slow the progression of myopia.
  • • Clear vision during the day without glasses or contact lenses — ideal for sports and active children.
  • • Reduced risk of developing eye conditions such as cataract, glaucoma, and retinopathy later in life.
  • • Safe and reversible treatment for both children and adults, effective up to -6.00 myopia and -1.50 astigmatism.
  • • Freedom from eyeglasses and daytime contacts for busy and active individuals.
